College Football Sundays!

Okay not a lot to write here today...
Penn State won - so yay!!!!!!! So happy, ya'll know how happy a PSU win makes me...
Idaho had this week off, so well at least they didn't lose - just about all I can say about that, we play @ Florida State next week. Clearly whoever scheduled these games is not looking out for the kids, though they say they are... #BCSstompingground.
'Bama wins again... though they played horribly sloppy and only scored what 20 points or so? Still waiting for someone to clock them with a loss... :-/
The big victory of the weekend - Duke's win! I told my buddy Joe, watch out for Duke! They sneak in there and can pull off upsets without people even realizing what they just did until it's over. They beat VT earlier in the season, and now they beat Miami! Miami's wasn't a very big upset - they were ranked #24 I think. But anytime a not-ranked team wins against a ranked one it's a great day! Even better when it's Duke or a team like them!
I ALMOST enjoy watching college football more during seasons like this because then it doesn't really effect PSU at all.. but I also can't wait till they can play for Bowls again! :)

Dracula Saturdays

I heard a rumor that they're going to be cancelling this show :( I hope that this isn't true. Rumor has it JRM has drinking problems, which makes me so so sad. His gaze, those eyes, go right through you, or at least me. He has that smolder look perfected!

He is such a good actor, now I base this only on The Tudors and now Dracula because that's all I've seen him in, but yeah. I think he's an excellent excellent actor - and that's aside from his dashingly good looks.
That look he gives Mina ... OMG! and that embrace .... whew! Set a girl's heart on fire!
No! You are smarter than that - don't go snooping around... always spells trouble!
The presence that he has --- just standing there --- is incredible. Chills!!!

Reign Fridays!

I Love this "new" Francis and Mary - the happy, in love couple! Their so cute!!!!
I don't like this Olivia chick - She's going to cause a whole lot of trouble, just as things got calm and "normal" ... and she's out to ruin that relationship that I love between Mary and Francis!
No Francis! Don't do it!
The way Bash looks at Mary... wow! Intense! Wow!!!! That was hot!
Kissing and Francis sees them... Oh boy.
After reading further and further in to Gilt - about Queen Catherine Howard and King Henry VIII, the guy they chose to play Culpepper (Sebastian in Reign) is perfect!!!!!!
Wow - he gets hotter every show.... that is all.

The Voice Thursday

I love that song Josh sang! The Man in the Mirror - Michael Jackson, it has always been one of my favorite MJ songs. I think Josh did a great rendition of it. It wasn't too different to the extent that it was a whole new song, but it was different enough that it was Josh's song. Loved it! He's one of my favorites!

Sometimes I feel like "America" only votes people through because of their age (or other determiners). Though this is not to discredit Jackie at all, she has a great voice. It was just a thought.

"Ray is sexy and you can't blame him for that." hahahaha Oh Blake. On that point though - he totally is. Ray's performance was soooooooo great! I love Ray, still my fav! I love their teasing of Blake too.

Tess-ann (Jamaican Girl) is still amazing. That is all.

I kind of like the idea of the Instant Save... But we'll see who it saves this week. Yikes! The results are crazy so far - as always!

Memory Monday and Hart of Dixie Tuesday!

First - making up for last night - was busy MCing a dinner for about 300 people! Wow! What a great Veteran's Appreciation Dinner!
So because Monday was Veterans' Day - I will give a shout-out to a show that I grew to love over the years - MASH. I think I originally resisted it only because my dad watched it so much. But man, what a great show!!!!!

I mean what a great cast!

College Football Sundays!

College Football Sunday -
So yesterday was an interesting day in college football.
Sadly, both my teams lost. Idaho put up a good first quarter... then forgot to play the rest of the game. Idk what happened with PSU, I couldn't watch the game but very disappointed. :(
LSU almost gave 'Bama a fight... Still waiting for someone to knock them down a peg!
Florida State completely blew away Wake Forest, as expected. Idaho plays @ Florida State soon - that'll be uh interesting... sigh.
How about Stanford beating Oregon?!?! And Nebraska beating Michigan?! Heck yeah! Love upsets, and of course anytime Michigan loses! :)
And what happened to Miami?! Blown away by Virginia Tech?! Really?!?! I think maybe they thought they'd roll over them and then Tech just rolled over them instead...
That's all I have to say for now...
PS - I love seeing my favorite PSU guys play in the NFL :) Once a Nittany Lion, always a Nittany Lion!

Dracula Saturdays!

Wow - First, JRM in the dungeon with no shirt. yeah...

then him crawling across the bed and then what happened after that - that will be in my dreams tonight! And those tears... he always gets me when he cries. I have a soft spot for a man who shows his tears.

That last scene with the guy that shot himself and the man (his dad?) coming in the room to find him like that?! WOW! It was a short scene, but so powerful! I won't be able to get outta my head.

Accent analysis: I think JRM's American accent is getting better, though there were still a couple moments where it was off. Still though, he's sexy enough I can just ignore it...

Reign Fridays!

Reign Friday - It was still Friday when I started this.
Oh the drama! If I didn't know what happened in "real life" - I'd ask does Francis secretly want to marry Mary all of a sudden? You know what you always can't have? Awww He has fallen for her!!!!! Poor Francis!
There's something completely intriguing about the King of France :)
Wow! Francis and Mary getting it on - it was short but hot.
Thomas - what an Ass! wow.
Oh the drama and all the spies! Who's the real spy? The English or the Portuguese? Duh!
Wow! Francis just killed Thomas for Mary?!?!?! "My heart says I should forget about politics and be with you. You're a true Queen that any King would kill for."
Uh super creepy end with "Clarissa" under Mary's bed?! How am I supposed to sleep with that image in my mind?!

The Voice Thursdays!

So the Top 20. I love how I feel today because the "results" show is tonight, so this is before one of my favorites most likely goes home - it always happens! But here's some random thoughts and my favorite picks so far.
- Does Christina know how to wear pants while performing? WTH? Wait, just saw her "complete" outfit - What is with that? More importantly, What IS she wearing? Can't she just wear like a normal outfit while performing? I don't get it.
- Carson is still awkward for me as the host of this show, after what 5, 6 seasons now - just awkward.
- Adam shaved?! No - shave November, starting off fresh maybe? He's still hot though.
- Second Adam comment - I love how he always looks over at the other coaches after a totally awesome performance from his team. There's something cute about this. :) Like he's thinking: Yeah, that's right. That's my team!
- I love Cat (Kat?) but not that outfit she wore! Again with the no pants - Whatever happened to wearing pants? If I walked around campus with an outfit like that .... haha, we'll just leave it at that.
- I LOVE the line from Cee-Lo (from last week) - "Your voice makes me want to dream with my eyes open!" - I'm stealing it. Well, the last part at least - Dream with your eyes open. This is my life motto - what I'm trying to do right now :)
- Two people annoy me/ rub me wrong, something about them - Christina, always her, and Stephanie. Idk. Just not feeling them.
Okay so favorites:
Shelbie Z, Nic Hawk (I've joined the Flawk), Ray Bodreaux - LOVE LOVE LOVE him!, Will and the Jamaican Girl - what's her name? from Team Adam, Cat from Team Cee - LO, and Josh Logan from Team Christina. Anyways, looks like I'm Team Blake again - Go Blake!

Supernatural Wednesdays!

Okay - some of you, and you know who you are, will love these posts - I think. First for Supernatural, The Originals will come later. SPOILERS!!!

Supernatural Season 9, Episode 5:
Dog Dean Afternoon
General thoughts: There is a lot of comedy in this episode. While it's refreshing to have that much and I did love it. I was still looking for the intense emotions that we've had in previous seasons. It's touched on a little bit at the end, but I need more. What's driving these guys?!?
Thoughts coming as I watched the episode.
Opening couple of minutes - Forked Tongue guy - WTH? Weird, creepy, but I have to have I love his "outfit."
And now he's stealing a bag of cats? There's something wrong with this guy. EWWWWW!!!! Wait! Hold up! He eats the cats alive?!?! Who or more importantly WHAT is this guy?! Dude, is seriously messed up!
Haha - Oh Dean. I love that you thought the dog was a suspect - never know with this show, Dogs do not necessarily equal dogs in this show. And now the dog is going to help solve the case?! Sweet!
Now we're literally talking with them? And now Dean is a dog/human - perfect! I love it! hahaha So funny. And is that Bobby's voice in the dog? Sounds like it.
Okay, back to Forked Tongue guy - who we find out is seriously seriously seriously messed up! Weirdo who has cancer. Okay then. It's cute (in a not cute but totally psycho way) that he thinks he can both kill Dean and eat Sam ... Nice try buddy!

The Originals: More Spoliers!
(So I preface this by saying that I'm a little tipsy right now, so if things don't make a lot of sense - I blame it on the Margaritas).
I love Elijah! He's great. His character brings a great balance to the show. - Addition - the Elijah in this episode is different than what I've seen before. WHAT? Not sure how I feel about the new one...
I love when Klaus calls people (girls, women) Love - Just the way he says it - I love it!
Messing with Hailey and the baby - oohhhh!!! Klaus is going to be pissed!!!
Rebecca breaks my heart - those tears! Damn girl! OOOO Rebecca and Marcel hot and heavy! Then slam he breaks her heart... poor Rebecca.
Still formulating my thoughts about the show itself, especially in relation to Vampire Diaries - more to come on that probably next week.

Hart of Dixie Tuesday

It's Hart of Dixie Tuesday!
So sadly, a lot of people don't know about this awesome show. So here's a recap of the last two seasons for ya'll.
Season 1 - Pilot Season:
Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson) is a new New York Doctor and unexpectedly is left her father's (whom she has never met) half of the medical practice in little Bluebell, Alabama. She spends the whole season getting to know the town of Bluebell, who don't want her in their town at all. She falls in love with George Tucker (Scott Porter) and then he leaves Lemon Breeland (Jaime King) at the alter - thus putting the rumor mills into a frenzy. She best friends with the mayor, and former football star, Lavon Hayes, (Cress Williams), and finds a place to stay in his mansion. Then she finds her hot neighbor, Wade Kinsella (Wilson Bethel).

Season 2 -
In season 2, now that George has left Lemon, and professed his love for Zoe, she has to chose between sweet George, her first love of the town, or her hot and confidant neighbor, Wade. Lavon dates Ruby (who runs against him for mayor), Lemon gets jealous - her and Lavon had a thing "back in the day." Lavon proposes to Ruby, she declines. Zoe picks Wade, and tries to ignore his "shortcomings," because the sex is so good, and well it's Wade. Lavon then pursues Lemon's best friend, Annabeth. Wade cheats on Zoe - which causes a whole lotta drama!  Zoe and Wade break up, then she tries to find a new boyfriend. End of Season 2 - Zoe goes back to New York (which she said she was going to do at the end of Season 1 also). The neighboring town's Mayor kidnaps Mayor Lavon Hayes' alligator, Burt Reynolds.

Thoughts from this season so far:
Season 3, episode 3 - How in the world does George Tucker gets his hand stuck in a zipper so much that there is blood and he can't get it out without a doctor's help? (And of course, it has to be Zoe that helps!)

End of Episode 3 - I still want Wade and Zoey to get back together! - Bluebell agrees that Zoe and her new New York bf who she moved to Bluebell with her, Joel, don't belong together. Dash - the town blogger has a blog poll. Who is the new hot guy, Peter?! Lemon gets him, which is kind of cute, though I want him. ;) Then he leaves for Scotland and Lemon thinks maybe he's made up or too good to be true and ends her search for him.

Memory Monday

Happy Memory Monday!!!
So today I'm going to be going WAY back and visit shows that I loved (for some reason) as a kid, this should be fun!
First up - the show that I was the most obsessed with, and I think my mom can attest to this - ALF!
While all of my friends were afraid of the weird hairy alien that ate cats, I absolutely loved him! I can't explain why, other than he made me laugh. I loved him dearly, and by loved him dearly I mean was obsessed, and by obsessed I mean I had everything that you could possibly have with his face on it - stuffed animals, pajamas, sleeping bag, and probably, most likely, more. I remember wanting ALF to be my best friend, I think I even wished for it when I blew out the candles on my birthday cake one year...

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!

Hi Ya'll!
So thanks to an awesome dream I had last night, an idea I woke up with this morning, and encouragement from some friends, I'm bringing back the blog. It will be remodeled from the old themes though. Instead of what seemed like random themes that I used before (though some were really fun and might make guest appearances here and there), all of my days will revolve around the same theme - What's on TV! Here's the schedule, the "real" blogs will start tomorrow, I tried to plan it so that I blog on the (current) shows the day after they air, as that is usually when I get to watch them.
Sunday - College Football Sundays - If you know me at all, or have talked to me during the fall, then you probably know that I am completely, 100% obsessed with college football. So I'm dedicating Sundays to my true love. <3 And as most games are on Saturday, this goes along with the "day -after" idea. :)
Monday - Memory Mondays - This is when I blog about those shows I loved that I have always loved but are no longer on the air. :( This includes shows that I loved as a kid, both cartoons and "real" shows, shows that I loved "growing up" - high school and college, and shows that I love now, though I wouldn't say that I'm "grown up" - never grow up, it's more fun this way! :) This may include movies occasionally...
Tuesday - Hart of Dixie Tuesdays - I love everything about this show! The hot guys, the Southern-ness of it, the football star as the mayor, the drama, the sex. It's all so fabulous and right up my alley! Which reminds me, I need to get caught up on it, I think I'm behind a couple episodes.
Wednesday - Supernatural Wednesdays - Wednesdays will be dedicated to the Supernatural - both the show with my favorite brothers, Dean and Sam, and also occasionally the Supernatural like The Originals.
Thursday - The Voice Thursdays - Most of you know of my obsession with Blake Shelton, well that transfers over to my obsession with The Voice. I'll be blogging about both the performance and results shows in the same blog, consolidating! I'll try to keep the Blake/Adam love-fest and squeeing to a minimum.
Friday - The Reign Fridays - The Reign is a new show and new obsession of mine. In research for my thesis, I've become obsessed with Mary, Queen of Scots. And then I was told about this show and so it instantly became an obsession because it's all about her. :)
Saturday - Dracula Saturdays - This embraces my obsession with Jonathon Rhys Meyers (who plays Dracula). I'll be blogging about this show, which is also brand new this season,  and will most likely bring in the show where my obsession started with him - The Tudors, quite often.
My hope is that you will join me for all of the days, but also just your favorites. You don't need to come every day. I'd be happy and grateful for both sets of followers!
Disclaimer: A lot of these days will have Spoilers in them for those that haven't watched the show yet on that day. So keep that in mind when reading the blogs! :)
