Supernatural Wednesdays!

Okay - some of you, and you know who you are, will love these posts - I think. First for Supernatural, The Originals will come later. SPOILERS!!!

Supernatural Season 9, Episode 5:
Dog Dean Afternoon
General thoughts: There is a lot of comedy in this episode. While it's refreshing to have that much and I did love it. I was still looking for the intense emotions that we've had in previous seasons. It's touched on a little bit at the end, but I need more. What's driving these guys?!?
Thoughts coming as I watched the episode.
Opening couple of minutes - Forked Tongue guy - WTH? Weird, creepy, but I have to have I love his "outfit."
And now he's stealing a bag of cats? There's something wrong with this guy. EWWWWW!!!! Wait! Hold up! He eats the cats alive?!?! Who or more importantly WHAT is this guy?! Dude, is seriously messed up!
Haha - Oh Dean. I love that you thought the dog was a suspect - never know with this show, Dogs do not necessarily equal dogs in this show. And now the dog is going to help solve the case?! Sweet!
Now we're literally talking with them? And now Dean is a dog/human - perfect! I love it! hahaha So funny. And is that Bobby's voice in the dog? Sounds like it.
Okay, back to Forked Tongue guy - who we find out is seriously seriously seriously messed up! Weirdo who has cancer. Okay then. It's cute (in a not cute but totally psycho way) that he thinks he can both kill Dean and eat Sam ... Nice try buddy!

The Originals: More Spoliers!
(So I preface this by saying that I'm a little tipsy right now, so if things don't make a lot of sense - I blame it on the Margaritas).
I love Elijah! He's great. His character brings a great balance to the show. - Addition - the Elijah in this episode is different than what I've seen before. WHAT? Not sure how I feel about the new one...
I love when Klaus calls people (girls, women) Love - Just the way he says it - I love it!
Messing with Hailey and the baby - oohhhh!!! Klaus is going to be pissed!!!
Rebecca breaks my heart - those tears! Damn girl! OOOO Rebecca and Marcel hot and heavy! Then slam he breaks her heart... poor Rebecca.
Still formulating my thoughts about the show itself, especially in relation to Vampire Diaries - more to come on that probably next week.
Sorry for my drunk rambling!

Hart of Dixie Tuesday

It's Hart of Dixie Tuesday!
So sadly, a lot of people don't know about this awesome show. So here's a recap of the last two seasons for ya'll.
Season 1 - Pilot Season:
Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson) is a new New York Doctor and unexpectedly is left her father's (whom she has never met) half of the medical practice in little Bluebell, Alabama. She spends the whole season getting to know the town of Bluebell, who don't want her in their town at all. She falls in love with George Tucker (Scott Porter) and then he leaves Lemon Breeland (Jaime King) at the alter - thus putting the rumor mills into a frenzy. She best friends with the mayor, and former football star, Lavon Hayes, (Cress Williams), and finds a place to stay in his mansion. Then she finds her hot neighbor, Wade Kinsella (Wilson Bethel).

Season 2 -
In season 2, now that George has left Lemon, and professed his love for Zoe, she has to chose between sweet George, her first love of the town, or her hot and confidant neighbor, Wade. Lavon dates Ruby (who runs against him for mayor), Lemon gets jealous - her and Lavon had a thing "back in the day." Lavon proposes to Ruby, she declines. Zoe picks Wade, and tries to ignore his "shortcomings," because the sex is so good, and well it's Wade. Lavon then pursues Lemon's best friend, Annabeth. Wade cheats on Zoe - which causes a whole lotta drama!  Zoe and Wade break up, then she tries to find a new boyfriend. End of Season 2 - Zoe goes back to New York (which she said she was going to do at the end of Season 1 also). The neighboring town's Mayor kidnaps Mayor Lavon Hayes' alligator, Burt Reynolds.

Season 3 - current season. Spoilers! "For a sleepy little town, Bluebell's got a whole lot going on!"

Thoughts from this season so far:
Season 3, episode 3 - How in the world does George Tucker gets his hand stuck in a zipper so much that there is blood and he can't get it out without a doctor's help? (And of course, it has to be Zoe that helps!)
Wade = HAWT!
Wade GIF
End of Episode 3 - I still want Wade and Zoey to get back together! - Bluebell agrees that Zoe and her new New York bf who she moved to Bluebell with her, Joel, don't belong together. Dash - the town blogger has a blog poll. Who is the new hot guy, Peter?! Lemon gets him, which is kind of cute, though I want him. ;) Then he leaves for Scotland and Lemon thinks maybe he's made up or too good to be true and ends her search for him.
 Peter

 Wade
 George
Tune in tomorrow for Supernatural Wednesday!

Memory Monday

Happy Memory Monday!!!
So today I'm going to be going WAY back and visit shows that I loved (for some reason) as a kid, this should be fun!
First up - the show that I was the most obsessed with, and I think my mom can attest to this - ALF!
While all of my friends were afraid of the weird hairy alien that ate cats, I absolutely loved him! I can't explain why, other than he made me laugh. I loved him dearly, and by loved him dearly I mean was obsessed, and by obsessed I mean I had everything that you could possibly have with his face on it - stuffed animals, pajamas, sleeping bag, and probably, most likely, more. I remember wanting ALF to be my best friend, I think I even wished for it when I blew out the candles on my birthday cake one year...
Alf Hilarious Moments
I will add more later... for now, enjoy some ALF comedy. :)

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!

Hi Ya'll!
So thanks to an awesome dream I had last night, an idea I woke up with this morning, and encouragement from some friends, I'm bringing back the blog. It will be remodeled from the old themes though. Instead of what seemed like random themes that I used before (though some were really fun and might make guest appearances here and there), all of my days will revolve around the same theme - What's on TV! Here's the schedule, the "real" blogs will start tomorrow, I tried to plan it so that I blog on the (current) shows the day after they air, as that is usually when I get to watch them.
Sunday - College Football Sundays - If you know me at all, or have talked to me during the fall, then you probably know that I am completely, 100% obsessed with college football. So I'm dedicating Sundays to my true love. <3 And as most games are on Saturday, this goes along with the "day -after" idea. :)
Monday - Memory Mondays - This is when I blog about those shows I loved that I have always loved but are no longer on the air. :( This includes shows that I loved as a kid, both cartoons and "real" shows, shows that I loved "growing up" - high school and college, and shows that I love now, though I wouldn't say that I'm "grown up" - never grow up, it's more fun this way! :) This may include movies occasionally...
Tuesday - Hart of Dixie Tuesdays - I love everything about this show! The hot guys, the Southern-ness of it, the football star as the mayor, the drama, the sex. It's all so fabulous and right up my alley! Which reminds me, I need to get caught up on it, I think I'm behind a couple episodes.
Wednesday - Supernatural Wednesdays - Wednesdays will be dedicated to the Supernatural - both the show with my favorite brothers, Dean and Sam, and also occasionally the Supernatural like The Originals.
Thursday - The Voice Thursdays - Most of you know of my obsession with Blake Shelton, well that transfers over to my obsession with The Voice. I'll be blogging about both the performance and results shows in the same blog, consolidating! I'll try to keep the Blake/Adam love-fest and squeeing to a minimum.
Friday - The Reign Fridays - The Reign is a new show and new obsession of mine. In research for my thesis, I've become obsessed with Mary, Queen of Scots. And then I was told about this show and so it instantly became an obsession because it's all about her. :)
Saturday - Dracula Saturdays - This embraces my obsession with Jonathon Rhys Meyers (who plays Dracula). I'll be blogging about this show, which is also brand new this season,  and will most likely bring in the show where my obsession started with him - The Tudors, quite often.
My hope is that you will join me for all of the days, but also just your favorites. You don't need to come every day. I'd be happy and grateful for both sets of followers!
Disclaimer: A lot of these days will have Spoilers in them for those that haven't watched the show yet on that day. So keep that in mind when reading the blogs! :)
Thanks for coming back! See ya'll tomorrow!

#41 - #50 Things that my future husband should know about me

#41: March 21, 2013: Hot Air Balloons
I love hot air balloons. I used to help out a crew, back when I lived in PA. I went to festivals and rallies with them - a couple of times I got to go up in the air. It's incredible. Being up there and surrendering to the breeze, wind, and atmosphere. It's a breath-taking moment- literally, sometimes. There's nothing like it. Even setting the balloon up can be meditative and also exhilarating. Standing at the mouth, holding the envelope open, feeling the heat of the flames pump from the burners and the constant wind from the fan. It's so loud you can't hear anything and you're left with just your own thoughts.
Even after seeing another balloon collapse while I was in the air, I still have this love for it. Nothing can take it away. I miss it.

#42: March 24, 2013:
During "that time of the month" I don't tend to become angry or hostile, like most men assume of women, unless of course provoked. I do become over emotional through. A lot of the time I just want to be held, made feel like I was loved and wanted. I try not to make any big decisions during that week. That's all. It's not rocket science - just tell me that you love me, want me, and all that.

#43: APRIL 4, 2013: Fair game
As a non-fiction writer, I tend to think that just about anything (with a couple exceptions) is fair game in my writing - so consider yourself warned! ;)

#31 - 40 Things that my future Husband should know about me:

#31: February 27, 2013:
In the past six months, you've helped me learn how to be truly happy, how to truly love all of someone, and how to be patient. You have helped me grow as a person, and have only made my life better. And now I can't imagine what my life would be like without you. I love you for all of that. Thank You.

#32: February 28, 2013:
I have no control when it comes to sweets - candy, cookies, brownies, ice cream... - If it's in the house, I eat it. I'll eat it in the morning, late at night, at lunch, dinner, doesn't matter. I have no control lol. It's worse than having a sweet tooth, it's like all of my teeth are sweet teeth.

#33: March 1, 2013:
Technology and I don't get along very well, at all. Usually it's the computer that I have to fight with, and usually it wins. sigh.

#34: March 2, 2013:
I miss playing video games, sometimes. :)

#35: March 4, 2013: Lifting
I kinda miss lifting at the gym. Especially on leg days. It always felt so good to be lifting and all the guys would stand around and watch me lift more than 95% of them - usually in squats. I loved doing squats. The gym was one place where you could feel instant progress and satisfaction - sooner than you could see it. Uping the weights, adding on weight, felt like it does when I finish writing an essay or story. Instant satisfaction. There's not much that felt that good - especially at that time. Maybe some day when I have the time, money, and energy, I'll join a gym again.

#36: March 5, 2013:
I have an "addictive" personality (my friends tell me). I become addicted to things very easily. Specifically TV shows. I become addicted to TV shows so easily and I don't know how or why. I can't really explain it at all. That's just how it is.

#37: March 6, 2013:
I am not very lady-like, especially during football or baseball. But randomly, all the time. Sometimes I fart, burp, swear, pick a wedgie, occasionally (very occasionally) pick my nose - yeah that's right, sometimes you have to, drink beer, love bacon, sweat like crazy, love lifting weights, laugh at inappropriate jokes - and even make them sometimes. And I poop - if you're one of those guys that don't think girls poop, get over it. I won't wait until you leave the house before I poop, and I don't expect you to do the same. You don't like all this? Too bad, some guy will. Take it or leave it - it's me!

#38: March 15, 2013:
I am scared to death of the health in my future. One set of grandparents - RIP - passed away from cancer. My grandfather had diabetes and pancreatic cancer, my grandmother had cancer three times: ovarian, stomach and everywhere. She was such a fighter. The other set both now have Alzheimer's Disease. It's at different stages for them - Grandma's is further alone than Papa's. Cancer on one side, "crazy" genes on the other. So what does that leave me with? How will my life play out? I've seen both diseases up close and am scared to death of both and what might happen. How can I avoid these?

#39: March 18, 2013:
You were the first, and well, so far, the only guy to tell me that I'm beautiful and you have no idea what that means to me. There are two sets of three words that any girl, well at least I will never get tired of hearing - "You are beautiful" and "I love you" and you said both today, one right after the other. This made me so incredibly happy, I kinda wanted to cry (happy tears, of course) but didn't want to ruin our skype date so I didn't. But THANK YOU. I love you.

#40: March 20, 2013:
When I get good (and bad) news I want to share it with you like immediately. I want you to be one of the first people to know. And I hope that you will react appropriately and will do the same when you get news. To me, that's one of the things that makes two people close in a relationship.

#21 - 30 Things My Future Husband Should Know About Me

#21 - 30 Things My Future Husband Should Know About Me

#21: February 7, 2013: Words
As a writer, words mean more to me than anything else. If you tell me something I believe it until you give me solid reason not to, and even then I still hold on sometimes. So please please please Don't ever lie to me intentionally, lies always hurt me more than the truth - and I'm tired of getting hurt by lies, it's happened far too often.

#22: February 9, 2013: Bacon (and ketchup)
I love bacon and I love ketchup. I try to use them in lots of things - Macaroni and cheese with bacon, with ketchup on top, eggs and bacon with ketchup. I love them - that's all.

#23: February 11, 2013: Go Yankees!
Yes, I am a Yankees fan. My Grandma and Grandpa Cobb raised me that way. I will always despise the Red Sox, and I laugh at them a lot lately. With this said, I despise A-Rod and will never like him no matter how many homeruns he hits for the Yankees. And I can, and do, root for other teams and some other players.

#24: February 14, 2013: Valentine's Day!
My view on Valentine's Day:
I don't care so much about huge plans just for Valentine's Day IF you show me how much you love me all year round (which you should do anyways) and I get random romantic moments all year. But this is definitely conditional on that if. And this doesn't mean that you can forget it all together - I still love hearing "Happy Valentine's Day."
This also doesn't mean that I won't give you anything. If you look back to #7, you will see that I love giving presents. :) So you will get something from me, guaranteed.
Addition:
My Grandpa Cobb will always be my favorite Valentine. You can come close to him, but I'm afraid no one will ever equal him. He was just simply the best.

#25: February 15, 2013: Cuddling
I love to cuddle. Especially in the cold winter. To me, there's nothing better than cuddling under a blanket, watching a movie. But I also understand that most men don't like to cuddle in the heat - I don't either, sometimes. So you give me cold weather cuddle and I'll give you hot weather.

#26: February 17, 2013: Why I'm Proud to be a Penn Stater
It's not the football team that makes me proud to be a PSU Alum. There are some years when they really suck. But it's their perseverance that makes me proud - they always survive and bounce back. It's definitely not the basketball team - they always suck. It's the fact that they never give up that makes me proud. In fact, it's not really athletics at all. It's the heart and soul that Penn Staters have. It's the fact that people like Joe Paterno donate the majority of their lives to help other people  without wanting anything in return. (To me it is great to do things without expecting something in return, but even greater when you don't want anything - there's a difference to me.) It's the fighting spirit of the Nittany Lions - no matter what people say they keep on fighting and are always proud to be a Penn Stater. It's events like THON that make me the most proud. A forty-eight hour dance marathon -that's right dancers are on their feet for forty-eight hours! - a year long fund-raising effort to raise money for the Four Diamonds Fund which provides families with kids receiving cancer treatments at the Hershey Medical Center funds so the parents don't have to worry about finances while their kid is fighting cancer. THON is also the largest student run philanthropy in the world and has been going on since 1977 when it was started by one family who lost their son to pediatric cancer. This year THON raised $12, 374, 034. 46 - all going to the Four Diamonds Fund, and all this was done without being recognized in any of the national media circuits. THON is why I'm proud to be a Penn Stater, and always will be!

#27: February 20, 2013:
I have to admit I'm pretty disappointed from this morning ... (But you kind of made up for it the next day with the TWO phone calls and all the text messages :) )

#28: February 23, 2013:
I will fight for you if I have to. I hope that I don't have to, but I will. The phrase you joked about the other day: "He's mine. Back off bitch!" will be the nicest thing that I do. ;)

#29: February 24, 2013:
I don't expect you to be perfect, just perfect for me :) (Which so far, you are :) )

#30: February 25, 2013: Cooking
I'm not a great cook, but give me a recipe and the right ingredients and I can be a decent cook, sometimes even good. My family picks on me for "not being able to cook" but they don't know that there are some thingsthat I can make pretty darn well. And I can bake great!
